Anchorage police looking to refocus efforts to fight crime growth

In what’s so far been a year of unsolved shootings where multiple suspects are still on the loose, many are pointing to the lack of Anchorage police as the reason why. It’s a problem city officials say has nothing to do with the number of officers, but in how the department is using them.
